Today is my baby boy's 16th birthday!! :)
They are Making the Best of It
This was my morning... Me working, Milo, Dixie and Newby were resting. I think they have it better than I.
Well... There Aren't Any Cool Puppy Pictures Today...
Mom is busy preparing for her musical concert series show next weekend. Yup, that means she is up to her ears in music she doesn't particularly like (don't tell the artists) and making videos to accompany the songs... (that is what mom does for 'fun'... this isn't her 'job' she does this stuff as a 'hobby'... she shoots, creates, edits and presents video to enhance your musical and theatrical/stage performances...for fun... fun!!?!... she is odd...)
And last night was her first production meeting for a Spring 2013 run of Macbeth. She is geeked. Macbeth isn't her favorite of the Shakespearean tragedies, but the script is very, very cool to work with, especially as this production is going to incorporate Samurai and other Asian influences. Yup, Asian Macbeth... :D
Don't expect a lot from mom during the next week... She has another production meeting for Macbeth on Monday and that Musical Concert Series starting Friday. (She also has to travel 1:45 minutes each way to get to the venue.) Oh, yeah, our human brother's birthday is Tuesday... he is gonna be 16... I wonder if she has remembered that? (Mom, you need to go buy that boy a car...)
Know that we, Milo, Dixie, and Newby, are doing very well... we are sleeping, noming on treats and staying warm. And giving Mom the stink eye every.chance.we.get!!
So Mom is Leaving Today...
And we believe the cold shoulder must be implemented.
Yes folks, that is a dose of the butts and a set of cold shoulders in one week.... We don't play around at our house.

Every night, around the same time, Newby goes on a hunt.. imagine if you will Elmer Fudd asking you to be "Vewy, Vewy, Qwiet becawse he is Hunting Sqwweakies".
He gathers them around and then the entertainment begins.

Momma is A Bit Busy...
Mom is busy working on a show for next Friday and doing some prep work for the spring production of the "Scottish Play" so she hasn't been around much. In fact she works, then exercises, then works, then does REAL work, then sleeps... she is pretty boring.
In fact, we are so mad at her that Newby is showing her his thoughts on all this work!! Join us in showing your best side to her and her lack of blogging, viewing, and responding ways.
**In my defense, this might be my last of this musical concert shows. I've been doing them for 7 years now!!! I would like, if this is the last one for this production company, for it to be amazing. I do video production for theatres on the side, in case you are new to me... think the video screens behind Carrie Underwood or Red Hot Chili Peppers... that stuff? I would be all me!! Also, my first production meeting for the "Scottish Play" is Thursday for a run in the middle of April. :) Just bear with me until 11/10. Even poor Reed's 16th birthday is falling in the middle of this 11/06, and he is getting the short end of the stick, too!! :(
