So we went on a ride. There was no one on the highway. It was a little surreal. But because we were all alone on these back country roads we could go as slowly as we wanted and fall fast asleep.
I'm only staying home for a bit waiting on roadside and auditing the audit if the invoices (there is another audit after mine too -the biggest eye roll ever for a horrible accounting system-).
But Newby thinks if I am home I should be showing him love with treats and belly rubs.... and until I do, I am getting the stink eye.
Not the most flattering picture of Dixie in her purple thundershirt (doggy spanx). But a girl does what she needs to do during a time of crisis (rain shower).
There is never any personal space with Newby as a recent houseguest found out. "Bathroom doors should be left open so I can snoopervise your shower", per Newby.
He will drag rugs, towels, beds, etc over if your shower or bath takes longer than he wishes to lie on the tile. And if you are really long he will move the shower curtain and stare until you finish.
We're lucky to have a dachshund lifeguard in the house!!
