Farm Life is Always Interesting

To make up for making everyone cry earlier today.....We hear a crackle and big loud boom then we find this in the backyard.

No puppies nor humans were hurt during this event... but considering my past with chainsaws, a human might be hurt in the future.

What a Difference a Day Makes...

Glad we enjoyed yesterday, cause today stinks.

2013 Peace Summit Has Concluded

And tenuous peace has been called at the Pennington Farm, with cat and dog putting away their nuclear weapons (aka pee and poop stink bombs) and are working together for a lasting accord.

 

Seriously, with a face like this, how could you not want to live peacefully together. :)

Bee tee dubs: This is my 700th post. Whodathunk I'd be blogging about my dogs, farm and family for such a long time.. I'm very thankful for the people who follow and comment... it's so much fun meeting you all, and becoming friends! Here is to the next 700 posts!

Just Like Two Year Olds...

I want you to notice, Milo has ALLLLLLL the bones, but he is barking because he things either Newby or Dixie is holding out on one.  Newby actually consumed one, so from what I can figure out, Milo had them counted and now one is missing.  We have an evil mastermind on our hands.

I'm forecasting another weekend of gardening, work and no rest for the wicked.  Until Monday, we at Shelle's Dachshund Farm say "bark, bark, bark, bark" *translated to "Which one of you stole my bone... I know you took it... you lousy scunnard... give it back now... what gives you the right to take it from me... I had them counted.... thief, thief... (etc)"
