Hello, it's me....I was wondering if after all these years you'd like to meet...to go over everything... They say that time's supposed to heal ya but I ain't don't much healing....
Well that being said, I am not a complete basketcase. I am actually pretty stable in life. Yup there are ups and downs, but all in all I am happy. I have a great job working with great people I like, two incredible dachshunds, an awesome son (who has coupled with an awesome girlfriend), nice little house...like I said, all in all I'm a happy girl.
It's just this time of year... It's gray outside, it's dark when you leave for work and dark when you head home, it's cold constantly...It's just gray and dark.
Lucky for me Newby and Dixie are great snugglers. Even when the bed sheets are on the wash, they are hardcore snuggling. Newby is a little codependent on Dixie. He is a bit moor cautious in his old age. His ears and eyes are not like his ears seven years ago. He likes to be carried to wherever he needs to go. And he prefers to have company with him all day and all night. So my weekends are filled with books and belly rubs to give Dixie a break from her babysitting duties during the work week.
Dixie has aged but just in her hair color...she is full on loud, barky, snoopy, and opinionated chiweenie. And that nosey most gets a lot of boops.
So what has changed? Why am I blogging? Honestly it's two part. 1) I don't see a lot of my other friends blogging anymore and I miss reading about their pets and their lives. 2) I know our dogs have a finite amount of time to be with us, and I don't want to forget the love and peace these little furry beasties bring me.
So if only for me and the future when I am without my beloveds, I am blogging. But if someone else reads, enjoys their faces, well that is just a cherry on top.

Welcome back! It's good to hear from you since many of our friends from a few years ago have stopped blogging. Many can be found on Facebook though. We're glad to hear your fur babies are doing well too.
Welcome back! So many of our blogging friends have drifted away.
I was glad to hear you guys are doing well. We think of you and your family often. Amber and Max will be 16 in a couple of weeks. Sadly Amber is in kidney failure and we're doing all we can possibly do to keep her comfortable. I went back to work which seems to take up all my time between being at work and the normal household chores. Hence blogging is at a standstill except for the 'Rainbow Friends ' blog. Take care and hope to hear more from you in the future. Hugs
