I'm Back...

I had a short overnight shopping trip to Nashville with my girlfriends, and Newby didn't like it at all. In fact, he slept like this last night, one paw on my shoulder, to make sure I didn't leave him again.

It's good to be home.

Lovable Lily May 3, 2013 at 9:10 AM: Well sh*t girlfriend, a one day trip for shopping? Does my Mommy need to teach you how to really shop? How abouts a trip to the Mall of America for the weekend? That's what Mommy and Grandma did years ago. Took right off on a big plane for a weekend shopping trip. Mommy said they had a blast. She came home with many, many packages.

My poor love Newby. Who can blame him for trying to keep you in one place. What a sweet, sweet picture. We're all smiling at the thought....

If we had just planned our timing a bit better, maybe we could have seen you for a quick Hi in the Furs!!! We're going back to Florida by way of Frankie and Ernie's hill and then on to see our long-time friends in Winston-Salem, NC. On the way up on Monday, we're having lunch with Sweet William the Scot in Cincinnati. Maybe we need to take a quick Milk Bone break in Kentucky??

Don't worry, Newby....Momma won't leave you for another shopping spree! :)
