Valspar Paint Sample

I got my free paint sample from Valspar yesterday via FedEx! Woot!! The dogs got to bark and I got something freeeeeee!! Yup, I live a simple life.

It was thru a sign-up on Facebook where you were allowed to pick out the color of your dreams. (I already knew this color... Cabin Red of the Eddie Bauer collection... I had been coveting it for a bit!) I am not sure if this promo is still ongoing... it was supposed to be just through 100,000 samples sent. But go check it out!

It came with a pretty box (like I said.. I lead a very... V.E.R.Y. simple life).




It came with some stuff inside like a coupon, thank yous, information about Valspar and complimentary colors to the color I picked. Albeit the colors they have for the compliment, Taffy, Lilac Petal and Snapdragon SOOOO do not suit my decorating style. But it was nice of them to include their opinions.

The paint was custom mixed and had the tint information on the container so I can go to Lowe's, coupon in hand, and get more of this marvelous color.



The best part of the freebie? It game with a little, tiny, itty-bitty roller and pan.
