I was amazed to come home and find all the previously green and lush trees are all now droopy, colored and dying. (Fall isn't my favorite season, btw.)
But the dogs have loved it! Well, not the mornings when the leaves are all wet and can stick to their undercarriage... but they adore romping in the dry leaves!!
Here is a bit of my little world right now.

We think the leaves changing are beautiful, but hate that our deck is now all slimey from being so wet and the lack of sun. Now when we run out to chase the deer and squirrels, we go sliding all over the place. Yesterday we hit 81 degrees and today is going to be 75. What happened to the snow that we normally have this time of year? We're not complaining mind you.... Mommy has the same problem as your Mom with the sinus stuffies. Just 10 more days and we're outta here. Good thing we're not driving into hurricane Sandy.

I LOVE fall! The air feels so crisp, and it's finally cool enough to wear my snazzy sweaters. PLUS it's cool enough that Momma likes to go on extra-extra long walks!
This GLORIOUS Indian Summer has been Wonderful... butt NOW it is gonna get REALLY WET... so get out there QUICK and enjoy the last blush of Autumn.
The trees on our hill are all TOTALLY bare already. Waaaaah Whine Whimper...
