Just a little refresher course on who we are...
(Obviously, mom has no new fodder for the blogger!! She is scraping up something, anything, so she can pretend she is 'creative'. We all know she is falling down on the job!! -sigh-)
I am Milo. I'm the alpha... the diva... the cream of the crop... the best of the best... the wonder dog... all other dogs respect and appreciate me... I rule this house and yard with an iron paw. There is nothing that happens without my approval. All inhabitants of my household are safe and protected as long as I am around. (At least in my own mind....) Mom says I have the best ears of any dog ever. My favorite thing to do is eat then have a little chew bone dessert. My mom's favorite thing is to take me on walks to walk off those meals and bone desserts (women... geez!)

I am Dixie. I am rather shy, but pretend I'm a big girl by barking incessantly. I am sneaky, doing a little bark so the big boys go running and I can get their food, toys or bones. I have the softest fur and am the best dog to sleep with (so my mom says...) I love being outside. In fact, you can leave me outside in the sun all day long (but mom never will...) I am a dainty eater, taking things out of the bowl and eating them one by one. I am the best groomer. Just ask the big boys, they will tell you... I can clean your ears and face like no-body's business!! I love my family a whole lot. And although I still walk behind you because I'm afraid you'll kick me, I will always be your girl!!

I am Newby. I am definitely a shy fellow. I do not like anything 'different'. Even a car being parked in a different spot can cause me to be anxious. I'm growing out of it, I hope. I really like spending time with Dixie and Milo.... especially Dixie... I could let her groom me forever. It took me almost a week to bark for the first time. And when I did, it was rusty sounding, like I had not barked in a long, long time. I'm learning all sorts of tricks, learning how to hog the bed, learning that I don't have to growl when someone comes near my food, that there will always be enough for all. Most of all I'm learning how to be loved and to love others.

Nice to meet you all and learn about you. You all seem like very nice doggies!
My Aunt Abby (a little red doxie) really loved to roll in cow poo. You should add a big cow poo pile to your list of demands!
