Step one on 'getting back to normal' is laundry.
Just be sure, when you are getting your laundry together, you carefully separate your darks and your lights.
Or in this case your dachshund from your laundry.

And once you get your laundry all sorted out between the light and the dark (doggies) be sure to check for bones burried deep. Bcuz where there is a Doxie, there usually be a bone or two.
